Anorexia is an eating problem where people starve themselves. Anorexia generally starts in young girls but men can also have it. People battling from anorexia have excessive weight loss. Weight loss is usually fifteen percents under the person's regular body weight. Individuals suffering from anorexia look so thin but are certain that they are obese. Weight loss can be done by many unhealthy ways. Some of the popular methods used are extreme exercise, refuse to eat, and use weight loss pills.

Anorexia symptoms are not generally noticeable. The psychological results of anorexia can trigger a good deal of discomfort. Mainly because anorexic people typically attempt to disguise their mental anorexia symptoms, it contributes to the entire problems of eating disorders. There are some symptoms you can notice weather your friends or loves one are anorexic, some of the symptoms include: rat less, excessive exercise, Laxative use, Use of appetite-suppressant medications, Decayed teeth from stomach acid, Premature aging, and Menstrual periods stop or puberty is delayed.

It is tough to define recovery from an anorexia that contains both physical and mental problems, but it's possible to recovering from the anorexia with the right attitude and determination. The best way to do this is to look at yourself the real way. Try to boost yourself -esteem. Separate yourself from negative thoughts. This includes staying away from media that encourages weight loss or skinny bodies, such as fashion magazines or television. If you have anorexic friends or family who are not seeking treatment, stay away from them during your recovery effort.

Every anorexic person needs treatment. There are many ways to treat anorexia. Some of them include: consulting a doctor and obtaining frequent counseling sessions. Some people may require staying in the hospital if they are critically underweight or have serious medical problems. The objectives of treatment are to reestablish a healthy weight and healthy eating habits.

It's hard to detect the exact cause of anorexia. It may caused by cultural pressures, psychological issues, family environment, and genetic factors. In many societies, becoming skinny is the standard of beauty for women and represents success, happiness, and self-control. Women are bombarded with messages from the media that they must diet to meet this standard. Other cause is related to low self confident and some failure in life.

Become anorexic is not the good thing to do. There are many ways to overcome your problem or lose weight. Starving yourself is the worst way to do. Try to seek help if you are suffering from anorexia. It's a must to get treatment to prevent serious health problem that may occur.
